Woman’s Death Possibly Linked To Pfizer COVID Vaccine—Is It Safe?

This past Friday, authorities confirmed that a minister from Virginia passed shortly after having been administered the coronavirus vaccination. Drene Keyes, 58 years old, was administered the Pfizer vaccine at a clinic near Newport News. Shortly after the vaccination, Keyes fell ill but remained at the clinic for the recommended fifteen minutes for observation.

Keyes left but returned to the clinic later that same day and subsequently rushed to the local hospital, where it is reported she died on Saturday.

Although doctors determined no immediate cause of death, experts say that Keyes did not suffer from an allergic reaction to the vaccination.

The state health commissioner, M. Norman Oliver, said in a statement Friday: “Preliminary findings indicate that the cause of death was not anaphylaxis, but it will take several weeks for additional information to become available.”

Oliver went on to say: “We can confirm that the death occurred within hours of having received the vaccine, but that is not evidence of it being related. We are currently investigating and do not yet know the cause of death.”

Oliver also offered that it was not currently known what, if any at all, possible underlying conditions may have played a role in Keyes death.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released a statement that they are continuing to closely monitor the vaccinations’ safety and that they are working closely with officials in Virginia to investigate the incident.

According to the CDC, an estimated 27 million Americans have currently been vaccinated against COVID since authorization was given by the government for emergency use back in December.

Experts in the health field have said from the beginning that the vaccinations are both safe and effective in the prevention of contraction and dying from COVID.

Virginia health officials have said that, in the wake of Keyes death, they are working to evaluate the incident as they receive more information, as well as will be providing timely updates on what they learn and any new actions that may be taken.

The Virginia state health commissioner continues to urge citizens to seek out and receive the COVID vaccination. “The vaccines are our best hope to end this pandemic and are very, very safe.”

Are the vaccines as safe as health officials are claiming, or is there more to them than we are being told?
