Video Review: Total & Notorious B.I.G. “Can’t You See”

Lights flash as Notorious B.I.G. and Puff Daddy rap on the gauzy, honey lit Bethesda Terrace located within Central Park in New York City, New York. Puff Daddy sits on top of the fountain while Kima, Keisha, Pam and Notorious B.I.G. dance on the bottom of it.

Kima, Keisha and Pam, wearing a variations on a black, leather outfit, dance within the Arcade. They continue to dance on the steps. Puff Daddy joins them in the Arcade. Kima, Keisha and Pam walk up the stairs.

Keisha ties her laces on her roller skates. Kima leans against a bench as she balances herself. Pam spins in circles. Keisha gets up and spreads her arms. Pam holds onto her arms and tells her she can do it. Keisha laughs, saying she hasn’t skated since she was a kid. Kima dodges between two children. Pam asks what time they have to be at the Boathouse. Keisha says about 5 p.m.

While skating, Pam taps Puff Daddy on the shoulder. She asks how he’s doing. Puff Daddy says he was playing in a pick-up basketball game. Keisha says they’ll cheer him on. Puff Daddy says his team is down about 10 points. Pam cringes and says they aren’t going to make the tournament. Puff Daddy says they are so close.

Kima claps for Puff Daddy on the bleachers. Pam and Keisha dance. Puff Daddy shakes his head and raises his arms in the air. Puff Daddy gets the ball and scores a three pointer. Pam calls out “one more three!” Notorious B.I.G. sits down next to them and asks him if he missed anything. Pam says that Puff Daddy just made a three. Notorious B.I.G. comments he’s gotten better. Kima tells him, “hey!” and asks him he had lunch. Notorious B.I.G. he was planning to the Boathouse afterwards. Keisha says they are going to eat there, too. Notorious B.I.G. nods and says they should get a table together. Puff Daddy gestures for the crowd to cheer as he scores another three pointer. Kima, Keisha, Pam and the Notorious B.I.G. clap and holler from the bleachers.
