The Overcooked series has gained quite a bit of fans over the years. These games have a lighthearted tone to them that lets players put their chef skills to the test while having to deal with a lot of varying challenges.
It’s a cooking simulator experience that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Instead, the developer Team17 focused on adding a bunch of content and emphasizing fun cooking action that you can’t get enough of — even after playing for hours.
If you haven’t yet experienced the still popular series, there’s no better way to than checking out Overcooked! All You Can Eat. It includes Overcooked and Overcooked 2 in one package and also incorporates a bunch of unique features like color blindness options and dyslexia text-friendly settings.
And now, it looks like this valuable assortment of content is finally coming to PC. It will be available on Steam specifically starting March 23rd and will run 4K at 60 FPS. If you play on the PC, this is your chance to experience one of the most chaotic, diverse cooking simulators on the marketplace. Even to this day, it has a loyal following thanks to how chaotic the cooking action can be at times.
All You Can Eat includes new levels too so even if you’ve played both games in the franchise separately, getting the complete package may be worth the costs. You’ll be able to pick it up for $40. That’s not too bad of a deal considering the ample content that comes included.
If you’re new to the Overcooked series, you can expect both games to throw a lot at you in the kitchen that constantly changes just when you think you have things figured out. The number of patrons you have to serve meals too constantly changes, as does the level of difficulty.
It’s definitely a great game to play with a couple of friends online. Success is built around collaboration. Whatever the challenge is, every chef has to think critically and as a cohesive unit. Otherwise, your team will be doomed from the beginning.
There is also a lot of variety and that keeps the challenges fresh and the cooking experiences captivating. Team 17 really did some great work with their whimsical designs. It takes cooking to another level and really lets your inner-child shine bright. They kept the updates coming post-launch so this complete package really does have a lot of value that may be worth checking out on PC.
